This qualification aims to provide learners with the introductory knowledge and skills they need to operate as a successful business administrator. It will also allow learners to develop skills in a range of areas relevant to business administration roles.
This qualification is designed for learners of any age who are working in or looking to work in a business administration role.
Achieving this qualification to be awarded the Level 1 Certificate in Business Administration, learners must achieve a minimum of 25 credits: a total of 17 credits from Group A and a minimum of 8 credits from Group B
Learners who achieve this qualification could progress to:
- Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration
- Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration Knowledge
- Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service
- Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service
- Level 2 Diploma in Skills for Business
How the qualification is assessed
Assessment is the process of measuring a candidate’s skill, knowledge and understanding against thestandards set in a qualification.
The Level 1 Certificate in Business Administration is internally assessed.
Each candidate must create a portfolio of evidence which demonstrates achievement of all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria associated with each unit.
