What are the entry requirements?
You should be at least 16 years old. We do not set any other entry requirements but colleges or training providers may have their own guidelines.
How many credits are required to complete it?
To achieve this qualification, the course has 58 credits, however you must achieve 35 credits.
How is it assessed?
It will be assessed by your tutor or assessor using a portfolio of evidence.
Do you need to be working to take the qualification?
No, this is a knowledge-only qualification.This qualification is designed for those who wish to work or are already working in health and social care settings in England.
How long does it take to complete?
The awarding body for this qualification stipulates that the diploma should be completed within 36 months, though most students will successfully finish the programme in approximately 12 months.
